Municipal Water and Waste Sampling and Monitoring
Municipal water monitoring and sampling programs are developed to maintain compliance with the designated municipal Water Use License (WUL) and the Permit to Operate a Large Drinking Water System. Programs may include routine groundwater quality and water level monitoring; surface water sampling and monitoring; drinking water sampling; giardia and microparticulate analyses; seep surveys; sludge surveys; and snow dump studies. All samples are sent to CALA-certified laboratories under chain-of-custody procedures, and results are compared to appropriate CCME Guidelines and the Yukon Contaminated Sites Regulations. Monitoring events and reporting are completed when required, to meet the applicable Water Use License (WUL) and Environmental Health requirements.
CoreGeo completes all phases of the municipal water monitoring and sampling programs in accordance with the most current version of the Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater published by the American Water Works Associations and the Water Pollution Control Federation.
