Matt Hosford, (P.Ag)
We are pleased to recognize Matt’s recent achievement of obtaining his Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) designation with the BC Institute of Agrologists (BCIA).
With more than 11 years of environmental consulting experience across Yukon, British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories, Matt has built extensive expertise in contaminated sites assessment and management. He supports clients through all stages of the contaminated sites process, from environmental assessments and site investigations to remediation planning and regulatory closure.
His areas of expertise include:
✅ Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
✅ Preliminary and Detailed Site Investigations
✅ Contaminated sites assessment and management
✅ Fuel storage system removals and decommissioning
✅ Remediation planning and implementation
✅ Regulatory compliance under numerical frameworks, with supporting experience in risk‑based assessments
✅ Remote field program management and multidisciplinary team coordination
Matt has successfully guided numerous projects through complex regulatory requirements across northern jurisdictions, delivering clear, defensible technical reporting and practical solutions for clients. His ability to navigate challenging project environments while maintaining a strong focus on compliance and risk management makes him a valued member of our team.
